MOTLEY CRUE Drummer Tommy Lee announces he will "go back to Greece" if President Donald Trump wins the upcoming election for a second term.
A vocal opponent of the Republican candidate, Tommy Lee has long held a bitter hatred for the Commander-In-Chief. For years, the Kickstart My Heart resident rhythm major has keenly battered the President and spoken against many of his policies and actions over forums like Twitter.
Tommy's newest comments come from an interview with the U.K.'s The Big Issue, where he was asked what his next move would be if the billionaire wins the vote;
"Dude, I swear to god, if that happens, then I'm coming over to visit the U.K.. I'm out of here. I'll go back to my motherland, go back to go Greece and get a house on one of the islands."
Tommy continues, "I feel like people in Europe and the rest of the world look at America and think, 'What the fuck are you guys doing over there? Stop voting for celebrities and get someone real to run the country.'"
It is no secret the Hold Me Down singer has been feeling this way for a long time. Ill sentiments have been shared by Tommy since the President won the election the first time, taking to Twitter to state: "What the actual fuck is happening?" in November 2016.
Two years later, Tommy Lee would again question the antics of the White House resident. When Donald Trump blamed the California Wildfires on bad forestry management, Tommy responded with: "Can you be anymore insensitive you fucking moron[?]"
Luckily, Lee has other things on his mind as he prepares for the upcoming release of his solo album, Andros, due out October 16. He has released the first pair of singles, Tops, and Knock Me Down. Check the official music videos out here and here.
