LAMB OF GOD, highly praised metal heroes, to livestream a performance of their Gold-certified album, Ashes of the Wake. The album features Lamb of God classic cuts such as Laid to Rest, a live concert favorite, Omerta, Now you've Got Something To Die For, and more. The best-selling album has sold more than 400,000 copies, and was released 16 years ago by Epic Records, the bands first Major-Label release.
The Richmond, Virginia 5-piece played on August 18th their new self-titled album in its entirety over their first live-streamed performance, to a swell of positive reviews and comments.
"My perception of the livestream changed after I read the comments," confessed John Campbell. "I won’t lie and say that it was just like an in-person show — it was like more like a video shoot with a lot more pressure. It’s a ton of work. I wasn’t able to get the fans’ reaction until afterwards in the comments and tagged social media posts. Maybe I got lucky, but everything I saw was incredibly positive."
